We Are

describes the Kent Seventh-day Adventist church, who we are and where we are
going. This is the result of God's Spirit moving upon this church body
through the process of church summits to find out how God wants this church
to fulfill the gospel commission. Dear Visitor, if you are not
currently attending the Kent Seventh-day Adventist church, we prayerfully
encourage you to come and join us on this God given journey to His
kingdom.

Uplifting
Jesus, building up a body of believers while sharing the hope of the three
angels’ message to the glory of God..

Shared Goals For
Kent Seventh-day Adventist Church
By God's grace and
power, the Kent Seventh-day Adventist church is committed to obtaining the
following church wide goals:

1. Small Group
Ministry: Launch and lead a church-wide small group
ministry with various types of groups to meet the needs of the church body
and the community.
|
2. Church
Facility: Repair and remodel our church building to provide
an acceptable meeting place for our congregation, community and God's
Spirit.
|
3. Spiritual
Growth: Plan relevant and ongoing spiritual growth
opportunities for our congregation and community.
|
4. Community
Outreach: Reach out to our community and circles of
influence to serve others, build trusting relationships and share the
gospel.

5. Youth
Ministry: Plan and lead relevant child and youth
ministries, including youth leadership training and worship services led by
youth.
|
6. Worship
Experiences: Create relevant worship experiences that
express our unity through diversity.

Incorporate the following into our six shared goals:

Leadership
Development: Create a leadership environment where leaders
are identified, intentionally developed and empowered to advance our vision
and values.

Stewardship: Teach and practice the wise use of our talents, time and treasure.

vision, values, goals and activities of church ministries to leaders,
members and the community. |
